I'm Nobody... really! @AllGoneTomorrow
@universal_sci @WorldAndScience I still have a load of data on a few dozen of those damn things, but no way to get to it.
Rob @Rob_Tb_West
@universal_sci It took 9 of these disks to install Windows 3.11๐Ÿ˜ฒ
Tweetysaurus @Tweetysaurus1
@GunRegCool @universal_sci I used to make short animated cartoons in the corners, each page an image.

@Tweetysaurus1 @universal_sci That was sometimes the only thing good in the notebook!

@universal_sci Not old, just grateful for the ever expanding minds of motivated humans :-)

@AllGoneTomorrow @universal_sci @WorldAndScience This is the Twitterverse...if you ask for it, they will come!
Earth Ling @2BdSoSd
@AllGoneTomorrow @universal_sci @WorldAndScience Just an idea that there may be others to help; we've all been burned by data loss. And hey, maybe this person has an unfinished thesis on quantum mechanics you know? For myself, I'd be happy to know just the things I 'may' have known before!๐Ÿ˜‰
I'm Nobody... really! @AllGoneTomorrow
@2BdSoSd @universal_sci @WorldAndScience I see. Well, it's most likely old writings & accounts. Some could be inspirational, but I doubt any are Earth-shakingly important, so I'm not stressed over it. A 3.5 floppy drive and transfer/translation software would probably cost far more than the data is worth.
Earth Ling @2BdSoSd
@AllGoneTomorrow @universal_sci @WorldAndScience Well, maybe there's time for new ideas, to be stored upon future unreadable devices. There's always hope. :)
I'm Nobody... really! @AllGoneTomorrow
@2BdSoSd @universal_sci @WorldAndScience I think the present for of storage will last a bit longer than the 5.25 & 3.5 floppy discs, but eventually they will be antiquated, too, like Zipdrives, and 8-tracks, cassettes, and Punch cards. There's already a crystal-like data storage thing which is read with a green laser.
