If Lloyds Banking Group is dropping the card schemes such as charity credit card what would be the alternative? Apparently, is it no longer cost effective and consequently, an alternative is necessary.

Halifax and Bank of Scotland charity credit cards which have helped to raise millions of pounds will be withdrawn, Lloyds Banking Group ann

The financial news have just announced that "Halifax and Bank of Scotland charity credit cards will be withdrawn from the end of February." source: bbc news

Is this a wise decision?

Apparently it is no longer cost effective, but what about the donations?

What is more important: charities and donations or financial cost? A kind of fight to survive from 2 different angles.

Some bank such as Coutts & Co private banking London delivers a restricted amount of private credit cards to certain clients. The terms and conditions are strict though...but it works.

However, charity cards holder don't seem to be impressed with Lloyds Banking Group changes.

What about listening to the customers needs/wants first?
