Apparently @ChetUber is fabricating stories again. For the record, he invited me to join him on his limo drive to airport.

And I didn't "chase" him down. He was talking to reporters in press room making up a story that Manning gave Lamo classified info.

Reporters in press room were accepting what he said without verification. When I heard his claim, I asked him for more details.

Said he had to catch plane and didn't have time to talk. Invited me to join him in limo to airport.

There were two other passengers in limo - random DefCon attendees, one of whom gave me his biz card once he found I worked for Wired.

I paid Uber's limo fare since, strangely, he had no cash on him. At airport, we chatted calmly for ~ 30 minutes then he left for his plane.

Later claimed I "chased" him down and that he was so upset he collapsed on his way to plane.

@r0d3nt I wish @chetuber wasn't trying to make me the story. I guess it's a slow day for him.

@morphizm I asked him about the claim he made that Manning gave Lamo classified docs, which turned out to be not true.

The truth of the matter is the opposite of what Kim states. Lamo backed up my story as it was unclear if he has or had not received classified information. This was on the record. Also the Article 32 detailed my role and it is exactly as I stated.
